Urban Development Institute

The Urban Development Institute is a "national non-profit association (with international affiliations) of the development industry and related professions. The Pacific Region has been active since 1972 with its head office located in Vancouver and chapters operating in Victoria and Kelowna. The nearly 350 corporate members of UDI Pacific Region represent thousands of individuals involved in all facets of land development and planning."

Victoria Real Estate Board

Located in Victoria, British Columbia Canada, the Victoria Real Estate Board "was founded in 1921 and since that time has been a key player in the development of standards and innovative programs aimed at enhancing the professionalism and community standing of Realtors."

British Columbia Expropriation Association The British Columbia Expropriation Association (the "BCEA") is a non-profit voluntary association of professionals who are engaged in the field of expropriation. The membership is comprised of lawyers, real estate appraisers, property negotiators, planners, business valuators and others. The BCEA hosts frequent dinner meetings and an annual two-day Fall Seminar.

Vancouver Island Real Estate Board

The Vancouver Island Real Estate Board (VIREB), formed in the early 1950's, is one of the most progressive, respected and sophisticated real estate Boards in Canada. Its range of activities, responsibilities and operations have dramatically increased over the years, and to keep abreast, the VIREB is constantly upgrading its services and resources. VIREB also keeps an eye to the future, assisting wherever possible with the orderly, well planned development of the Island.
